Project LIT Community — a national grassroots literacy movement that aims to get students excited about reading by highlighting diverse, high-interest, culturally relevant books and promoting a love of reading in our schools and communities. We work together to:
HOW DOES IT WORK?
At Blair, our Project LIT chapter is sponsored through the library media center by Mrs. Sandie Chen and has 35 active members who read and serve the school community together. We meet every Wednesday during lunch in the library media center. Every year we read at least 8 books together and also participate in the following programs:
